Facial Fillers for Cosmetic Wrinkle Treatment  

Facial fillers are injectable materials used to plump or add volume to facial areas such as the lips, cheeks, temples and under the eyes, or to minimize the appearance of facial wrinkles. Unlike Botox, they do not reduce wrinkles by weakening the movement of facial muscles. They do this by filling in lines or depressions (such as dark circles under the lower eyelids). They are sometimes used in combination with Botox because the combination may work better than either treatment alone.
